What are you going to take with you in case you need treatment during an event?
Every athlete should be responsible for their own care of their feet during an activity, whether it be a walking event, endurance race, triathlon or a rugby match!
Take an Emergency treatment kit with you, either wear it on you, in a back pack, bum bag or give it to a supporter who is with you or on the bench ready for a break in the game. So when you feel a hot spot forming, stop and treat it, time given to your feet at this point will save you in the long term and will help you to complete the event, however long it is? Do not rely on the event organisers to offer that service to you as they might not have the right materials or time to help you?
Being prepared is the key to successfully completing an event!
